We’re are looking for a Tier 3 Systems Administrator / Solutions Engineer to lead advanced projects and act as a technical strategist for our clients.
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll serve as the top escalation point for technical issues while also leading infrastructure and cloud projects. Beyond support, you’ll work with clients to assess workflows and introduce automation and AI-driven solutions that make their businesses more efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as final escalation for complex issues (Microsoft 365, virtualization, hardware, systems, network and security).
- Lead IT projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations, server refreshes, VoIP, firewall and network infrastructure deployments.
- Assess customer workflows and design automation solutions (Power Automate, scripting, AI tools).
- Manage and optimize virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Oversee security initiatives (MFA, backups, conditional access, patching).
- Mentor junior admins and collaborate with leadership on client roadmaps.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT systems administration (MSP experience strongly preferred).
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune) preferred.
- Strong background in networking, firewalls, virtualization, and backups.
- Proven ability to manage IT projects and communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, scripting in PowerShell).
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365 Expert, Network, VMware, CCNA, Security+) a plus.
